I served as the official tourism PR for Nagoya City and Aichi Prefecture for 16 years and 11 years respectively, conveying the charms of the region to domestic and international travelers. My experience in tourism PR led me to work as an English guide after hearing from foreign tourists that they wanted to know more about Nagoya. Since then, I have expanded my activities as a navigator connecting the region with the world, introducing history, culture, and food in an easy-to-understand manner.
The reason why Kurahashi Takeshi continues to work as a guide is because he has a strong desire to "convey the true charm of Nagoya to the world in his own words."
The guide's job is to "hand over stories," not only about history and culture, but also about the warmth of the people and the atmosphere of the city. Rather than simply explaining things, we want to work together to create "the moment you fall in love with this city."
